The Palace & Bristol Bear Bar have greatly extended hours over the weekend. The Palace open until 4am on Saturday and Sunday and until late on Monday. BBB open until 6am on Saturday and Sunday and late on the Monday.

The Bearhouse directions are now on the page here for Saturday - and we'll have maps and directions available on the weekend itself. We also have a fantastic sound and light package put together by our friends at THEATEK- we have the best sound and light system in Old Market!

Monday night has been tweaked a little. There's still the "Forget That Old Queen" pub crawl, but after talking to a few bears it was the general opinion that the party needs to go on so rather than the Chillout Lounge, there's now Karaoke at The Retreat through the evening, which they turn into "Bearaoke" at midnight - so head up there and show the young 'uns how things are done!

BBF9 IS SUPPORTING
CALM Campaign Against Living Miserably

W H A T   I S   C A L M ?

The campaign against living miserably (CALM) was
set up to reduce the high suicide rate amongst men
under 35, currently the single biggest killer of young
men in the UK
. It is a campaign and charity
targeting young men with a helpline, magazine
and online community, but CALM listens to
anyone who needs help or support.

In 2010, 75% of suicides were men. But while
smoking and knife crime make the headlines,
suicide is the biggest killer.
CALM
promotes and delivers a free, confidential,
anonymous helpline and website targeted
at young men, though CALM will listen to
anybody who needs advice or support regardless
of age, gender or geographic location.
